We may share your data with: barristers and other legal professionals we instruct on your behalf; HM Courts & Tribunals Service; the Office of the Public Guardian; HM Revenue & Customs; the Land Registry; the Solicitors Regulation Authority; our regulators, insurers and auditors; and IT service providers under strict written contracts. We never sell your personal data.
Your data is stored within the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where any transfer outside these areas is necessary we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy decision).
We retain client files for a minimum of 7 years from the conclusion of your matter, and for longer where required by our regulatory obligations, our professional indemnity insurers, or the nature of the work (for example, Wills and Deeds are held for life). Anti-money-laundering records are retained for 5 years.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, staff training, secure disposal of physical records, and regular penetration testing — to protect your data.
We review this policy at least annually and will publish any material change on this page.
