Yes. Home visits within Greater London are offered for a £150 supplement. Visits to hospitals, hospices and care homes are quoted based on distance. We regularly attend clients across the Home Counties.
A Property & Financial LPA allows chosen attorneys to make decisions about money, bank accounts, bills, property and investments. A Health & Welfare LPA covers medical treatment, care arrangements and, if you wish, decisions about life-sustaining treatment. Most people put both in place.
In that situation an application must be made to the Court of Protection for a deputyship order. We handle these applications routinely and can also apply for urgent interim orders where funds need to be released quickly.
Yes. Where NHS Continuing Healthcare has been wrongly refused, or where a local authority means-test is unfair, we assist with appeals up to and including Independent Review Panel and Ombudsman level. Retrospective claims may recover many months or years of fees.

For a straightforward Will we typically send a draft within five working days of the consultation, with signing arranged within another two weeks. Complex Wills involving trusts, business interests or overseas assets may take four to six weeks.
Legal aid is not generally available for the private-client work we specialise in. However, some Court of Protection welfare matters and certain community-care disputes do attract legal aid and we will always tell you if you may be eligible.
